Communications Specialist (HR)

Digital Strategy LLC is seeking a Communications Specialist (HR) with UI/UX experience to join our team. In this role, you will craft compelling HR & Communications materials while leveraging your UI/UX design skills to enhance user experiences across various platforms. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend HR and communications expertise with design proficiency to drive engagement and efficiency. 

We specialize in delivering pivotal data analytics products tailored for federal clients, making a meaningful impact on government staffing, engagement, performance, and efficiency.

Additional specific responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement internal communication strategies to effectively communicate HR programs, policies, and initiatives to employees.
• Participate in proposal storyline sessions with solution architects and key stakeholders to clarify proposed solution, approach, products, and services, and in turn deliver innovative design solutions.
• Create visually appealing and engaging content for internal communications channels, including email newsletters, intranet, and digital signage.
• Design user interfaces for HR-related applications and platforms, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience.
• Write compliant, compelling, and client-centric copy, aligned to the proposed solution.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and refine designs.
• Ensure consistency of branding and messaging across all HR and communications materials.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor 's Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Design, or comparable discipline.
• At least 10 years of total work experience, with at least 5 years of experience in HR-related communications (with a focus on internal communications).
• At least 5 years of experience preparing documents, reports, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences, including senior management.
• Strong design skills with proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Balsamiq, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, or Figma.
• Minimum 3 years of experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, fostering flexibility and adaptability.
• Familiarity with AzureDevOps is a plus.
• Experience with recruiting and workforce planning activities and data is a plus.
• Due to federal guidelines, US Citizenship is required for this role.
