Digital Strategy, a dynamic player in the federal government consulting sector, is on the hunt for a proactive Human Resources Generalist to bolster our rapidly expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the entire recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to extending job offers.
- Organize and conduct new hire onboarding, orientations, and benefits enrollment.
- Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews.
- Review, update, and draft company policies and procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to both state and federal regulations.
- Assist in administering employee benefits, compensation, and training.
- Lead benefits package negotiations, handling open enrollment and year-long modifications.
- Formulate HR strategies in alignment with our broader corporate goals.
- Promote business growth by fostering talent development, engagement, and retention.
- Cultivate a positive work environment.
- Oversee the company performance appraisal system.
- Support managerial decision-making with insightful HR metrics.
- Coordinate corporate events, including holiday parties, all-hands meetings, and more.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 – 7 years of experience in an HR role.
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP/PHR or SHRM-SCP/SPHR are a plus.
- Demonstrable people skills with a results-driven approach.
- Superior active listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficient verbal and written communication.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
- A deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related software. Ability to swiftly grasp our HRIS and talent management systems.
